Michael J. Collins has been licensed to practice law since 1994. His entire legal career his practice has been concentrated in insurance defense. He has handled over a thousand cases from initial pleadings through appeals to the State Supreme Court. He is the past Utah Chair for The Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. He has tried almost 20 cases to a jury verdict and arbitrated at least 100 cases. He has successfully mediated scores of cases, some including disputes with over a million dollars of exposure. He has argued cases in the Utah Court of Appeals, The Ohio Court of Appeals, the Utah Supreme Court, The Ohio Supreme Court and the Federal Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
